This is a fast paced course for quick learners.

Coming out of this course, you will learn to make a coil pot, a grouted tile tray, wall hanging and some sort of pottery from the wheel. – Raku glaze will NOT be available in this course, but upon request.

Your instructor, Lisa A. Busch has been teaching ceramics at BPAAA since January, 2008. Lisa lives in Garland, Texas, works full time at Bank of America as a title examiner and thinks of BPAAA as an art club. She has been working with clay since high school and also teaches stained glass, glass slumping and jewelry making. Look for Lisa at pet events during the year where she sells her handmade items and creates paw print tiles for customers.

Future projects: Raku glazed wall hangings and pottery , slumped bottle wind chimes, clay sculptures, glass necklace pendants, wine glass painting, stained glass kaleidoscopes (this requires soldering), and many more items. There are endless possibilities…
