SPRING BREAK - 2010
Academy of Arts & Education offer programs that has, for several months, taught thousands of aspiring artist how to find their own niche in creative expression through sketching, shading, sculpturing, designing, music, dance and theater. The School is a non profit 501(c), Visual Arts Center for all ages.
SPRING BREAK CAMP STARTS MARCH 15, 8:00A.M. TO 4:00P.M. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A DINOSAUR TIME. FRIDAY WILL BE A SHORT DAY. ALL CLASSES WILL END AT 2:00.
Spring Break is a week full of art and fun. We will meet every morning at 8:00 a.m. and no time earlier. Every hour is an activity of learning and fun activity. Everything will be about the Dinosaur. Activities includes a visit with the Flinstones, Cartoons, Sculptures and more.
ALL TUTORING IN READING AND MATH: 4:45 TO 5:45 AND 5:30 TO 6:30 TUESDAY AND THRUSDAY
REGISTRATION: $10/students and adult (for all classes)
Hourly Art Classes: $17/student each
(we supply EVERYTHING)
YOU CAN SELECT YOUR DAYS = TUESDAY., THURSDAY, AND SATARDAY
You can join a class at any time if space is available.
ART CLASSES: PAINTING, DRAWING, SKETCHING, WATERCOLOR, PASTELS
CERAMIC CLASSES: CLAY VESSEL, RELIEF, ABSTRACT, SCULPTURES
Additional family members receive a $5 discount per session. Discounts only apply to two week camp classes.

ADULT CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED TUESDAY (6:30 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.) & SATURDAY (10:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.) Every Hour.......COME JOIN THE FUN!!!!!!!!
We offer lessons for all ages in piano, guitar, and voice too. Our instructors have one or more university/college degrees and have taught in public and private schools and performed professionally. There is no better way to start playing and performing music your heart desires than with one trial lessons for as low as $15.00, 1 hour. We all know you will continue your passion in taking that first step in learning music.
Tuition is based on an average of four, 30-minute lessons per month. Months with five weeks are balanced against those with three weeks due to holidays.

PRIVATE LESSONS
* $15.00 (30min) = Monthly Tuition $75
* $27.50 (60 min) = Monthly Tuition $110
You'll receive one on one attention that will really speed your skills toward meeting your goal. Students who take private lessons often improve more rapidly and develop confidence more quickly with intensive, individual instruction. Move from a beginner to full mastery of your chosen instrument. These lessons are geared toward your individual needs. 30 minutes, and one hour lessons are available.
Tuition is not prorated to reflect missed lessons. A missed lesson is considered a forfeited lesson. Upon enrollment, your child's class space and lesson time are reserved whether he/she is present or not. If the teacher missed the lesson it will be rescheduled or credited.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR WITH PIANO, GUITAR, AND VOICE LESSONS:
PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS start with the basics of reading music and learning chord and scale patterns through fun beginning songs that are familiar to the student.
We teach the standard music lesson repertoire and techniques, moving step-by-step through skill building music, with modern and attractive method books.
Teachers choose motivating supplementary materials for each student that introduce many styles including pop, classical, gospel, jazz and more.
Students move to the intermediate and advanced levels, increase their sight-reading capabilities, and can work on improvisation and harmonization as well.
Our current students range from 4 years old to many students in their 60's and 70's. We take care to teach what you want to learn so music is rewarding for students of all ages and levels.
Tutoring: Provide enrichment in subjects taught in school: English, math, reading, and use of the internet for research. Home-work study and TAKS testing study will be offered. (All Ages)
Registration: $10
Winter Hours : (4:45 PM – 5:45 PM ) or (5:30 – 6:30 )
Fee: $17 for one hour daily - Choose Tuesday or Thursday After-school.
Hourly sessions are available from: 4:45 PM – 6:30 PM ,
Clay Time Ceramic: We offer a wet clay area complete with a slab roller, it's fun and easy which gives you a great way to relax creatively. We have the clay and all we need is YOURSELF. All glaze and supplies are supplied. This is a hand on hands class with the use of a potter’s wheel.
Registration: ($15 Clay Expense)
