Enrollment Policies
1. Please complete a registration form for each student. There is a one-time annual (due once per school year) family registration fee of $10. Registration must be included with your first payment tuition.
2. Tuition is subject to a $5 late fee after 10 days from the due date. There is a $60 charge for returned checks. If a check is returned we must ask that payments be made with money orders or cash.
3. Tuition must accompany your registration form. If you sign up mid-month, your tuition will be prorated. We cannot hold space without payment.
4. We do not send bills - we have printed payment schedules available at the school and payment dates will be posted. Payment may be mailed to the address below.
5. Six students are required for a class to begin. If enrollment drops below six students we reserve the right to cancel the class.
6. Make checks payable and mail to: Brooks Peoples Academy & Arts, 4222 Rosehill Road Suite 13, • Tuition is due in advance of each quarter - we’ll provide a printed schedule with dates.
• The spot is yours for the school year unless you give us 2 weeks notice, before the end of a term, that the student won’t be continuing.
• The registration fee is a one-time annual (due once per school year) fee - due only with your initial registration.
• Refunds are not available for missed classes (please read our make-up policy).

There is food and then there is food of art! Join culinary artist at Brooks Peoples Academy & Arts for an introduction to making international dishes that are both delicious and artfully presented. Students will spend four days preparing and crafting four international dishes to share with family and friends on Friday, the last day of camp. Bring your taste buds and an apron! A $10 materials fee is required to help offset the high cost of ingredients and supplies.
1. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. If a student is unable to attend their class they have the following options: Attend a Saturday morning class. Please call if you have to miss class.
In this class students will enjoy an introduction to the uniqueness of Japanese visual art with Stella, a native of Okinina. Emphasis will be placed on the simple enjoyment of making images, while learning about the basic skills of Japanese painting, calligraphy, the use of Japanese ink. The instruction will include an introduction into the special characters that represent the spirit of Japanese culture. The complexity of the lessons will vary according to the age group.
Under the guidance of Stella, a native of mainland Japan and a specialist in Linguistic Methodology, children will be introduced to conversational Japanese and, in the older age groups, Chinese characters (writing). Learning a new and exotic language can be great fun, especially when augmented by
