Events

 Once a month Brooks Peoples Academy and Arts, will have entertainment in sharing moments with friends and families to drive awareness and support to the community. Come and join the fun with our next event of Karaoke Night and Teen Gospel Night. The academy has been committed to develop new talents through an array of events, including Mic Teen Night, Gospel, Comedy, Recitals, Festivals in the Fine Arts, Creative Technology, and more.     Any day is a day to party. Gather your friends, family or anyone to celebrate in creativeing an expressive art piece.  You will pick your design and add your own unique flair. You do not need to be an artist. Call and sign up today.

    Send us an email to reserve your spot in our weekly Open Mic Night!. We incorporate music, lighting and aromas to set the perfect environment. You bring your own drinks and finger food will be available for donation.

    Winter Recital - December TBA

    Students will perform musical compositions taught throughout the year. Entertainment of musical bands, and individual talent. Come and see one of the greatest shows in musical talents of the year.

    Gala of the Arts, TBA 


    ​This event will be an elegantly festive with parents, students, friends and families. The Gala will generate funds that support many programs at Brooks Peoples Academy and Arts through individual ticket and door sales, sales of donated of art, and raffle tickets.  This year's event will celebrate the amount of services offered from the year 2006. This event will take place on a Friday, in November TBA and features both an Art Sale and family party atmosphere, where you and your family can dance the night away. We are working on a safe and new scheduled time and date.

Mission Community Service


Weekly, BPAA - empowering students and adults serving community service through the juvenile justice system to mentor and creative awareness in self-behavior. If you are in need of a place to do your community service for hours of graduation, Nation Honor Society, or any reason, contact Brooks: "214-497-0824."
